The 103rd Annual Freestone County Fair and Rodeo is set for the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield June 16-21.
Ag Mechanics Projects will be judged on Monday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m. The kick-off parade throughout downtown Fairfield will be held on Monday evening at 7 p.m. Following the parade will be the stick bull and barrel racing competitions. Freestone County Go-Texan will be hosting their horseshoes tournament on Monday night after the parade as well. Entertainment for the night will be Gary P Nunn.
The market rabbits will be judged at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17. The breeding sheep will be judged at 1 p.m. After the breeding sheep show, the breeding goat show will be held. The All-Star Show will take place at 6 p.m. The Miss Freestone County Coronation will be held at 7 p.m. in the Fairfield High School Auditorium. Freestone County Go-Texan will be hosting their washers tournament at 7 p.m. 79 South will be the entertainment for the night starting at 8 p.m.
