The City of Teague Board of Aldermen met in a special called meeting on Thursday, May 9, to declare the results of the canvass for the election returns of the general election of May 4,.
All board of aldermen were present except for Bridget Gauntt and Mayor David Huffman.
James Monks defeated Jack (Butch) Hansel 111 votes - 77 votes in the election for the City of Teague Mayor.
