For the first time in school history, the Teague Lady Lions volleyball team will be playing in the Regional Semi-Final today, November 8, at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station at 1:00 p.m.
“I couldn't be prouder of this group of girls,” Coach Ashley Hiles said. “Making it to the Regional
Semi Final for the first time in school history is such a special accomplishment, and it's a testament to their dedication and belief in one another.”
The Lady Lions (23-8) will be taking on the Hardin Lady Hornets (21-16). Teague defeated West on Tuesday night, November 4, at Blooming Grove High School in three straight sets 25-18, 25-18, and 25-22.
“My girls came into the match focused and determined,” Hiles said. “They've worked hard all season, and that drive really showed on the court. We knew West was a strong team, but they stayed composed, executed the game plan and finished strong.”
The winner of the Teague and Hardin game will take on Clifton in the Regional Championship. Clifton defeated Central Heights 30-28, 25-18, and 25-15 on Friday night.
