Marcus (Marc) Regan Holmes, of Donie, passed away at Providence Hospital in Waco on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at age 68, having long anticipated the reunion with his mother, Elenor.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 28, 2024, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Union Cemetery (Freestone County).
Marc was born July 22, 1955, in Fairfield, to Jim Andrew Holmes and Elenor Faye Lummus Holmes. The family lived in various towns while growing up, but he primarily considered Donie and Teague as home.
