Jimmy Dale’s journey on this earth came to a close on Friday, August 2, 2024, at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas, leaving a void that can never be filled. Born in Dew, Texas, on February 29, 1940, he embraced his identity as a leap year baby with pride, marking a life filled with extraordinary stories and adventures. As one of the youngest and most accomplished operators for Sheehan Pipeline, he roamed the vast landscapes of America, driven by a passion for heavy equipment and a thirst for experience. In the early 1970s, he planted roots in Baytown, Texas—a place where he raised his family, worked, and created cherished memories.
