Let there be light

Museum receives new lighting

The Freestone County Historical Museum Board of Directors is very pleased to announce to the community that flash lights are no longer needed to read our display signs.

On Saturday Aug. 17, the new lighting installation was completed in the Bass Wing by Energy & Automation Company of Hewitt, owned and operated by Brenda and Greg Klepper.

Patty Pratt, museum curator, said, “The new lights are just AMAZING. Everything is so vibrant and colorful. We didn’t realize how bad our lighting situation had become, until we flipped the switch on for our new lights.”
