The Teague Lions are ready for their season opener this Friday, Aug. 30, as they travel to New Waverly to take on the Bulldogs. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Lions traveled to Scurry this past Thursday, Aug. 23, to take on the Wildcats in a scrimmage.
“I was very pleased with the progress that we made between our first scrimmage and second scrimmage,” Head Football Coach Zachary Linscomb said. “I felt our execution was much cleaner, especially on the offensive side of the ball.”
