The Teague Lady Lions went 5-1 in the Eustace Tournament to bring home the consolation trophy over the weekend.

On Thursday, Teague went 3-0. The Lady Lions defeated Scurry-Rosser 25-13 and 25-14, Corsicana 25-13 and 25-13, and Eustace 25-10 and 25-21.

Teague matched up with Kaufman on Saturday morning and lost 21-25 and 16-25. The Lady Lions went on to defeat Scurry-Rosser 25-16 and 25-19. In the consolation match, Teague fell to Quitman in the first set 20-25, before coming back to win the match with 25-12 and 15-5 wins.
