The Teague Lions (4-1) held off a rally from the Class 4A, Division-2 Bullard Panthers Friday night to secure their fourth win, 30-28. This completes Teague’s non-district schedule.
The Lions have an off-week this upcoming week and will prepare for the short trip to Fairfield to open up District 9-3A, Division-1 against the Eagles (3-2) to kick off district play.
Junior Ny’Land Coaster got the Lions on the scoreboard first with a 3-yard touchdown run to put Teague ahead, 7-0 in the first quarter.
