The Teague Lady Lions defeated Mexia and Groesbeck this past week in district play. The Lady Lions move to 16-12 overall and 3-1 in district play.
“We had a great week last week, picking up some important wins,” Coach Sarah Beaird said. “I am very proud of how we went on the road all week and worked to get these two wins.”
On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Teague defeated the Mexia Lady Blackcats in three straight sets, 25-15, 25-16, 25-12.
