Only Love

Paul wrote in Romans, chapter 13, verse 8, “Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another, fulfills the law.” That’s a pretty good law, isn’t it, to love one another? There are those who are easy to love, and there are those who are hard to love, but the Bible doesn’t make any distinction between the two. It simply says, “Owe no one anything, except to love one another.” C.

That’s a pretty good law, isn’t it, to love one another? There are those who are easy to love, and there are those who are hard to love, but the Bible doesn’t make any distinction between the two.

It simply says, “Owe no one anything, except to love one another.” C. S. Lewis, in his book, “Mere Christianity”, wrote, “Don’t waste your time worrying about whether you love your neighbor or not, just act as if you did. As soon as we can do this, we will discover one of the great secrets of life. When you act as if you love your neighbor, you soon will. But if you are mean to someone you dislike, you will soon find yourself disliking him more. Yet, if you do him a good turn, you will find yourself disliking him less.” That sounds all right, doesn’t it?
