The annual Teague Parkfest hosted by the Teague Chamber of Commerce will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Eighth Avenue City Park.
The Parkfest BBQ Cookoff will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26. Fee is $200 per team. Categories include chicken, ribs, brisket, cook’s choice and jackpot beans. Buckles will be awarded for each category and overall winners. RV spots must be reserved through the City of Teague at 254-739-2547.
The Parkfest 5K Run/ Walk will be at 8 a.m. Saturday There is a $15 registration fee. Registration will be held from 7 to 7:50 a.m. The Top 3 runners in each category will win an award. Dress in a Halloween costume to be entered into the Best Costume category.
