The Teague Lions (4-1) will enter district play on Friday night against their rival, the Fairfield Eagles (3-2). The Eagles are on a three-game winning streak after losing their first two games of the season.
“I’m very proud of the start that we have had to this season and how we found some ways to finish some tight games,” Teague Head Coach Zachary Linscomb said. “But we have to just use that as building blocks as we head into district play and basicall a new season starting this week.”
Kickoff for the Teague and Fairfield game is at 7 p.m. at Eagle Stadium. All district games are set for 7 p.m. this season.
