The Teague Lady Lions fell to Elkhart and defeated Westwood in district play last week. The Lady Lions move to 17-13 overall and 4-2 in district play.
“I am very proud of our girls for maintaining second place in the district,” Coach Sarah Beaird said. “We started off the week with a tough loss on the road, but we came back and got a great win at home on Friday.”
Teague traveled to Elkhart on Tuesday, Oct. 1, and fell to the Lady Elks in straight sets 19-25, 23-25, 17-25.
