Chloe Kuzmich and Felipe Diaz are advancing to the Regional Cross Country Meet on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Kate-Barr Ross Park in Huntsville after competing in the district meet last Wednesday, Oct. 9.
In the varsity girls division, Kuzmich grabbed second place with a time of 13 minutes, 29 seconds over the 2-mile course.
Felipe Diaz placed seventh with a time of 18:41 over the 5,00-meter (3.1mile) course in the varsity boys division. Also competing at the district cross country meet were Deja Franklin, Grady Langley, Ximena Lara, Cesar Martinez, Sofia Medina, Keyanna Oatman, Marlie Philpott, and Cadi Van Cleve.
