The Teague Lady Lions defeated Buffalo and Mexia this past week to pick up two wins and move to 20-14 overall and 6-3 in district play.
“We are very proud that our girls were able to take care of business during such a busy week,” Coach Sarah Beaird said.
Teague hosted and defeated Buffalo 25-8, 25-20, 25-23 on Tuesday night, Oct. 15.
On Friday, Oct. 18, Teague hosted and defeated the Mexia Lady Blackcats in three straight sets, 25-18, 2518, 25-8.
“We will continue to work each game at a time,” Beaird said. “The girls are getting used to Coach Hiles being back and have done well transitioning back to her as the head coach.”
