The Moody-Bradley House was buitl in 1860 by W.L. Moody for his bride, Pherabe Elizabeth Bradley.
The couple moved to Galveston after the war with their son, W.L. Moody Jr. The couple sold the property to F.M. Bradley - Pherabe’s father and W.L. Sr.’s fatherin- law.
The house is Greek Revival Structure, which was kept in the family until F.M. Bradley’s third wife, “Miss Matt,” passed away in 1913. The Fairfield History Club bought the house from Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Coleman in 1967, and continues to restore and maintain the home.
