The Teague Lady Lions saw their season come to an end last Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the Bi-District Championship against Franklin at Leon High School. Teague finished the season with an overall record of 22-16.
“Overall we had a very successful season and made great gains from the beginning to the end,” coach Sarah Beaird said. “We are proud of our girls for making the playoffs and competing against a very good Franklin team.”
After defeating Franklin earlier this season, Franklin came back and defeated Teague 25-14, 25-16, and 25-16 to advance to the Area Round. Franklin defeated Troy in Area to advance on to the Regional Quarterfinals.
