Lady Lions earn all-district honors

Nine Lady Lions earned All-District volleyball honors for this season.

“I think we were well represented with All-District honors. These young ladies worked hard and their individual stats helped to earn these accolades,” Coach Sarah Beaird said. “We are extremely proud of them and applaud their efforts on the court, but most importantly all of our athletes earned Academic All- District, which also shows how much work they put into the classroom as well.”

Senior Bethannah Owens was named Blocker of the Year. She had 54 blocks, 393 kills, 116 digs, and 39 aces.
