All board members were present for a short Teague ISD school board meeting on Tuesday evening, Dec. 10. Teague ISD Band Director Cory Hiles and TISD Superintendent Chris Skinner recognized THS senior Hunter Fulmer for being the first student from Teague High School to advance to the state jazz competition. Out of 41 students at Area, he placed first.
Skinner recognized Danny Pinson, Cheryl Tucker and David Gallegos as the TISD December Employees of the Month. He recognized Megan Ashley, Morgan Smith and Vanessa Miller as the TISD December Teachers of the Month.
Teague Elementary School Principal Crystal Adams noted that the Texas Education Agency conducted an aaudit and found no findings. All TISD administrators reported that their faculty/staff were very appreciative of the extra $2,000 longevity bonus this year.
