The Teague Lions boys basketball club participated in the three-day Fairfield Tournament, which started on Thursday. They secured a pair of wins in four total games.
Teague earned a split of Thursday’s games with a 63-47 win over Terrell in the opening game, followed by a 59-22 loss to Scurry-Rosser in the second game. Then on Friday, Teague won in convincing fashion, 71-39 over A Plus Academy.
The Lions were matched up with Scurry- Rosser once again on the tournament’s final day. Teague lost the rematch as well 4434. Teague opened up the district portion of their schedule Tuesday night at home against Buffalo. Results will be available in the next edition.
