The inaugural Wreaths Across America Recognition Ceremony at Veterans Remembrance Park of Teague was held Saturday, Dec. 14.
The park became an official site to hold a ceremony, when the board of directors voted to approve the action last summer.
Douglas Smith, major, United States Air Force (retired), and also president of the Veterans Park Board of Directors, said it was an absolutely easy choice for the park to become an official site to perform a Wreaths Across America ceremony.
