The Teague Lady Lions basketball team lost by two points at home on Saturday to the Liberty Lady Panthers, 39-37. It was a non-district affair. Prior to that loss, Teague had won its last three games in a row.
Teague remains in third place in District 20-3A, Division 3 behind Fairfield (3-0) and Mexia (2-0). Up next for the Lady Lions, they plan to travel to Mexia for a game on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Start time of that contest is slated for 6:15 p.m.
