The new cattle barn at the Freestone County Fairgrounds is being constructed by Hilltop Welding. The new barn will be completed in time for the 2025 Freestone County Fair which will be held June 16-21. Last year, a new pig barn was constructed. The Freestone County Fair Association is completing the projects with some monetary help from the City of Fairfield.
