An arctic front hit on Sunday, Jan. 5, and lasted throughout the week. After a short downpour on Sunday morning, temperatures began to drop throughout the day. Wind gusts throughout the day hovered around 20 mph with some gusts closer to 30 mph.
The temperature dropped below freezing around 11 p.m. Sunday. Temperature on Monday morning was in the mid 20s with a wind chill in the single digits.
The temperature got slightly above freezing during the day throughout the week, but did reach the freezing point every night throughout the week.
