Road closure on FM 80

FM 80 closed on Monday, Jan. 6, at Sanders Creek and South Fork Sanders Creek to allow for the removal of existing bridges and the construction of new bridges at each location. This closure is anticipated to last through December 2025.

This will undoubtedly create heavier traffic on certain roadways and on roads that had very little traffic at all.

The detour roads will be FM 489 and HWY 164. However, it should be expected that other roadways will be utilized as well by those who know the area.
