The City of Teague Board of Aldermen tackled a short agenda on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Board of Aldermen include Place 1 Ron Rasbeary, Place 2 Jerry Ballew, Place 3 Rhonda Jones, Place 4 Bridget Gauntt, and Place 5 Timothy Campbell.
The board approved the consent agenda items, including minutes, accounts payable check registers, financial statements, and the Teague Police Department annual racial profiling report for 2024.
No action was taken on amending the collection center fees.
Retired U.S. Air Force Major Douglas M. Smith, who is the president for the Board of Directors for Veterans Remembrance Park of Teague, was scheduled to present a certificate of appreciation to the mayor and sldermen for all of their support. However, Smith was not able to make it and the presentation was rescheduled for another date.
The meeting adjourned at 6:43 p.m.
The next City of Teague Board of Aldermen meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 17, at 6 p.m.
