The Trinity Star Arts Council is sponsoring a Digital Poster Contest. The purpose of the contest is to encourage the enhancement of visual communication skills and to provide participants an avenue to express their creative abilities. Limit one entry per participant.
APDF version of the contestant’s entry and entry form must be emailed to: info@TrinityStarArtsCouncil. org by the entry deadline, April 11, at 4 p.m.
Entries should be informative and promotional. The contestant’s purpose is to create a digital poster that would be suitable for advertisement.
• Poster must contain graphic arts with promotional information about the Freestone County Fair & Rodeo that will be held June 16-21.

• Submitted entry becomes the property of the Trinity Star Arts Council.
The scoring will be based on a 50-point scale with 10 points given for each of the following categories:
• Originality/creativity
• Message, attracts attention
• Appealing
• Organization
• Promotional Ability All entries will be printed (size 11’’x 17’’) by TSAC board members and displayed at the TSAC Gallery. Contestants do not bring or send a printed copy; simply email your PDF file with entry form. Awards will be announced at the ArtWalk on May 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Star Arts Council Gallery, 115 S. Main St., Fairfield.
2025 TSAC Scholarship Offered
Trinity Star Arts Council continues to offer its scholarship program for graduating seniors of Freestone County schools for the year 2024-2025.
The organization will award at least four scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000, to eligible students currently attending high school in Fairfield, Teague or Wortham. These scholarships are targeting those who excel in the arts and who are currently enrolled in an accredited educational program leading to a career in performing, visual, media, medical, culinary or literary arts.
Applications are available through high school counselors at each campus, as well as attrin-itystarartscouncil. org. Deadline for completed forms is April 21.
TSAC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote literary, performing, and visual arts through education and participation within the community of Freestone County.
