The Teague Lady Lions took fifth place overall out of nine schools at the Fairfi eld track meet last Thursday, March 6.
Chloe Kuzmich brought home a gold medal in both the 1600m run and the 3200m run. In the 1600m run, her time was 6:24.605 and in the 3200m run a 14:04.000.
A’Shaiya Jones, Deja Franklin, Micah Newsom, and Hadley Vondra grabbed second place in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:54.547.
Jones placed sixth in the long jump with a jump of 14’3”.
In the shot put competition, Reyna Ramos took fourth place with a throw of 27’11½”.
The Lady Lions will compete in the Buffalo track meet on Thursday, March 20.
