On Friday night, May 3, the Eagles traveled back to Axtell High School to take on the Bubblebees. Little River Academy came out on top 3-1 to advance to the Area Championship against West.

Fairfield defeated Teague 1–0 in their final district game of the season to grab the second place seed behind Franklin going into the playoffs with a district record of 9-5.

“The boys did a great job finishing out the year strong,” Coach Andrew Downing said. “They needed to find a way to dig back in and win the games they were supposed to win, no matter how pretty or ugly they were. They just started stacking wins.”
