The 2025-2026 Teague ISD academic calendar has been released and students will return to school on Wednesday, Aug. 13. Teachers along with other faculty and staff members will return on Tuesday, Aug. 5 and have six days of professional development before the first day of school.
There will be a school holiday on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. The end of the first six weeks will end on Friday, Sept. 19.
There will be a staff development day Monday, Sept. 22, so students will not attend school. The second six weeks will start on Tuesday, Sept. 23. There will be no school on Thursday, Oct. 2, Friday, Oct. 3, and Monday, Oct. 6 as these are school holidays that tie in with bye week for football. The end of the second six weeks is on Friday, Oct. 31.
There will be a school holiday Monday, Nov. 3, and there will be a staff development day Tuesday, Nov. 4, so students will not have classes. The third six weeks will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The Thanksgiving Break will be Monday, Nov. 24, through Friday, Nov. 28. The last day of the semester will be Wednesday, Dec. 17, which will also be an early release day. Christmas break begins Thursday, Dec. 18, and runs through Friday, Jan. 2.
Monday, Jan. 5, is a staff development day so students will not attend school. The fourth six weeks begins on Tuesday, Jan. 6. There is no school on Monday, Jan. 19, which is MLK Day. Monday, Feb. 9, is a school holiday. The end of the six weeks is Friday, Feb. 13.
There is a school holiday on Monday, Feb. 16, which is President’s Day. The fifth six weeks begins on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Spring Break is scheduled for Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13. Wednesday, April 1, is an Accelerated Instruction Day. The end of the six weeks is on Thursday, April 2.
Good Friday, April 3, is a school holiday, and a bad weather day is scheduled for Monday, April 6. The sixth six weeks will start on Tuesday, April 7. There will be an Accelerated Instruction Day Wednesday, April 15, and there will be a bad weather day Monday, May 4. The last day of school is set for Thursday, May 21, which will also be an early release day. There will be a staff development day Friday, May 22. Graduation for the Class of 2026 will be held on Friday night, May 22.
