The Back to School Bash, full of games, fun, snacks and a “watermelon dinner” has been planned to kickoff the new school year for area students.

Faith Fellowship in Fairfield will host the event from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28. New games and playground equipment will be set up for kids to enjoy. Basketball, tether ball, see-saw and a giant waterslide will provide lots of entertainment for those attending.

“This will be an exciting time for our church as we will resume our Wednesday Night Kids ministry the following Wednesday on September 4th,” Pastor Justin Colquette said. “We look forward to seeing all the kiddos who attended last year and encourage all parents to let us treat their kids to an evening full of fun, food and games.”
