The City of Teague Annual Spring Clean-up is set for Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Dumpster locations will be at the 8th Avenue Park, Booker T. Washington Park, and the City of Teague Collection Center.

“We are proud to be able to provide extra dumpster locations to enable the citizens to help clean up Teague,” Teague Mayor James Monks said. “By everyone participating, at the end of the day we will have removed nearly 250 cubic yards of waste.”

The dumpsters are for the use of residents of Teague. No commercial dumping will be allowed. Chemicals, paint, tires, electronics, bricks, concrete, shingles, and appliances that contain freon are not permitted.

“In an effort to provide the opportunity for everyone to bring their items to the dumpsters, we respectfully request that you be reasonable with the items you bring, as an example, bulky mattresses, large furniture and other items that take up a lot of space in the dumpsters,” Monks said.
