Addison Posey, Blayke Brackens, Na’Kayla Connor, and Kaylee Williams are heading to the State Track Meet to compete in the 4x100m relay in Austin on Thursday, May 1, after claiming the gold at Regionals in Huntsville on Saturday, April 19, with a time of 48.27.

The Lady Eagles edged out Grandview, who ran a 48.62, and Lexington, who ran a 48.80, in the event.
Connor ran a 12.09 in the 100m dash to claim first place and advance to state in that event as well.
Brackens placed fifth in the triple jump contest with a jump of 36’ 8½”.
On the boys side, Brayden Thornburg grabbed fifth place in discus with a throw of 133’ 7”.
