The Fairfield Lady Eagles grabbed third place out of 12 teams in the Fairfield Tournament over the weekend. The Lady Eagles are 6-1 on the season so far.
“Our technique and skills are getting better every day. Our passing percentage improved each match,” Head Coach Kelly Ridge said. “We still have a lot of work to do with our passing and our hitting percentage, but there is definitely improvement each day.”
On Thursday, Fairfield defeated Wortham 25-12 and 25-10, Coldspring-Oakhurst 25-10 and 25-13, and Corrigan- Camden 25-12 and 25-13 in pool play.
