The Kindness from Case shoot was ‘successful’
Olivia Hays and George Robinson, the sister and father to Case Robinson, pose for a photo at the 2025 Kindness from Case Sporting Clays Shoot on Saturday, April 12. Case passed away in 2018 after being involved in an ATV accident at the age of 11.

The annual Kindness from Case Sporting Clays Shoot was another huge success this year, according to organizers.

A total of 30 teams along with some individuals, totaling over 130 participants, competed in the shoot. It was held at the Case Robinson Memorial Range on Saturday, April 12, “We are blown away with the success of the shoot and the number of participants and volunteers,” Olivia Hays said. “We had enough food to feed 180 people and ran out. We love to see repeat shooters, and their family and friends each year. We would not be able to continue outreach, without the support from our community. It’s really special to see Case’s friends, and shooting sports teammates out on the course. We have an awesome board, who put in countless hours to make this event a success. The new board members jumped in with both feet, and really knocked this out of the park.”

On Friday night, April 11, Larry McCeig and Danny Pool won the 42 Tournament.

The Youth Make or Break winner was Brock York as Jet Tacker won the Adult Make or Break division. This is the second year in a row that York won the youth make or break contest.

Trey Musgrove won the Longbird competition. Musgrove gave a majority of his cash winnings back to the foundation.

Men’s High Point winner was Preston Kindle as Kynlee Laquay was the Women’s High Point winner.

The Youth Champion Team was sponsored by Loviette Pest Control. Team members were Cane Loviette, Logan Williams, Landon Morrison, and Will Zachry.

Heston Brooke, Wyatt Moore, Jace Long, and Trey Musgrove was the Youth Reserve Team, sponsored by Normangee State Bank.

The Champion Team was sponsored by Johnson Cattle Marketing. Team members were Russ Montfort, Montie Montfort, Jeff White, and Nathan Franks.

Curtis Jones, Shawn Hartness, Don Brown, and Toby Jones were the Reserve Team, sponsored by CRJ.

Faith Fellowship Baptist Church fried fish, french fries, and hushpuppies for lunch. The local Cub Scouts volunteered under the tent and cleaned the whole course after the shoot.
