Texas state sales tax revenue in most cities in Limestone and Freestone Counties saw increases in April.
The state’s total revenue was $4.24 billion, 7.1 percent more than a year ago for the same month.
In Limestone County, Coolidge collected $5,546, a 6.3 percent increase; Groesbeck, $134,067, a 21.01 percent increase; Kosse, $20,064.22, a 21.27 percent increase; Mexia, $350,638, a 4.57 percent decrease and Thornton, $5,826, a 65.44 percent increase.
