The Fairfield High School Class of 2025 was awarded approximately $1,074,000 in scholarships and awards during their senior awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 14.

“For the seniors of 2025, I would like to thank each and every business, organization, club or university who provided a scholarship or award,” Fairfield High School Principal Sonya Gibson said. “I would like to thank the parents who for four years have supported their children´s involvement at Fairfield High School. I would like to thank the teachers, administration and board of trustees for their guidance and support. But most of all, I would like to thank the seniors for their commitment and dedication which has led to their accomplishments.”

A complete list of the scholarships will be in next week’s edition of the Freestone County Recorder-Chronicle.
