Teague senior class garners more than $450,000 in scholarships

The Teague High School Class of 2025 received accolades at the annual Senior Awards program May 13, including more than $450,000 in scholarship money awarded to the 83 graduates assembled at the high school auditorium.

In addition to the 56 scholarships given, numerous school awards also were presented.

The largest scholarship awarded was the Texas Workforce Commission Scholarship worth $100,400. That includes four years of college tuition and books. The recipient was Alexis McKain.
