Marvin Mullen of Fairfi eld was inducted into the Texas Archery Shooter’s Association (ASA) Federation Western Region Hall of Fame on Friday, May 16. He was presented the award at the ASA Southwest Shootout BBQ dinner held at the Love Civic Center in Paris, Texas by Terra Timmerman, Texas State ASA Director. He was surprised by his wife and family attending the event. Daughter, Sarah Woodard and husband Quentin of Denton and son, Samuel Mullen and wife Amie along with his grandchildren, Leah and Amos of Fairfield were in attendance.
Marvin has competed in ASA competitions since 2007. He has won numerous Texas Shooter of the Year Awards and State Championships; as well as, winning two Pro-Am national competitions and has had several podium finishes.
