We are excited to present our Summer Program schedule. In addition to the Creature Teacher, the Texas Storm Chasers, and the Texas Snakes and more events, special guests are lined up for the weekly storytimes. Join us for our Summer Kick-Off on Tuesday, June 3, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a scavenger hunt, games, snacks, collaborative coloring, and a photo booth, as well as for more information about our summer program. Like our Facebook page @FairfieldTXLibrary to stay updated on our posts regarding who is coming and when, for the twenty-six planned events. Stop by the library to grab an event calendar, or find the event times and dates on our Google calendar at www.fairfieldtxlibrary. org/events-calendar.
Our June Storytime guest lineup includes Amber Weitner with Water Safety, Freestone County Sheriff Shipley with boots, badges, and stickers, Texas Master Naturalist Wanda Rauscher, and Jennifer Taylor with the popular Stuffie First-Aid. July events feature the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Miss Kayla with a Mental Health Activity, and Leah from Fort Parker State Park.
We especially want to thank our local banks for sponsoring the following events: Farmers State Bank and the Creature Teacher on Friday, May 30, at 5:30 p.m., Incommons Bank and the Texas Storm Chasers on Tuesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m., and Community National Bank and the Texas Snakes & More on Friday, June 27, at 5:30 p.m.
