FHS honors 117 graduates

Fairfield High School recognized 117 graduates of the Class of 2025 at its Commencement Exercise on Friday night, May 23, at Eagle Field.

Newton Hartley gave the invocation to begin the night. Preston Scott gave the Salutatorian Address.

“Stephen Schwartz once wrote: I’m through accept- ing limits ‘cause someone says they’re so. Some things I cannot change, but ‘til I try I’ll never know,” Scott said. “Don’t let the fear of failure keep you from taking risks or putting yourself out there. Don’t choose what’s easy simply because it’s safe, because one day, you’ll realize your dreams didn’t disappear, you just stopped chasing them. Don’t let that be your story.”
