The 89th Legislative Session is officially over— and it was the most conservative session Texas has ever seen. The gavel fell for the final time on Monday as the Texas House adjourned Sine Die, marking the close of a session where we stood firm for our values and delivered real results for House District 13 and all Texans.
As I packed up my desk and reflected on the long hours, hard-fought debates, and steady work behind the scenes, one word kept coming to mind: gratitude. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve House District 13, for the trust you’ve placed in me, and for the progress we made together this session.
I’m also humbled to share that—for the second session in a row—I received the Effective Conservative Award. This recognition isn’t about titles or headlines. It’s about staying true to our values, keeping my word, and delivering results. That’s exactly what happened this session.
