Good evening everyone, First, I want to start off by saying a huge thank you to all the hardworking faculty members at Fairfield High School for making this day possible.
Let’s be real for a second: if someone had told me four years ago that I’d be standing here giving a speech to the entire graduating class, I would’ve nervously laughed, then panicked and looked for a way out. And if you had told me the same thing a month ago, I still wouldn’t have believed you. Hi Newton! But here I am. And here you are. We made it.
If our time in high school had a soundtrack, it’d be a little chaotic: some skip-worthy tracks, but there were definitely a few anthems we’ll never forget.
