Let me repeat here that I do not like Trump or respect him personally; I do very strongly respect the office he holds and the objectives he is trying to achieve. I agree with his domestic agenda almost without exception; I strongly disagree with some of his foreign policies, most notably his failure to further assist Ukraine and his (I hope) seeming acceptance of Vladimir Putin. This tack, however, has forced our European allies to finally fund their own defenses, a laudable achievement.
To Trump’s credit, he has closed the open border to the south, restoring territorial integrity; worked to implement much needed remedies to government wasteful spending; increasingly strengthening our defense structure; and moved to correct the egregious trade imbalance with our foreign trade partners [his threatened tariffs are only dramatic but effective, with results yet to be determined].
We were told last week that Wal-Mart’s prices will double: preposterous! China is described by the writer as a sane trading partner: preposterous since China is presently our most sinister enemy, hacking/stealing our technology, funding terrorist regimes, etc.
