Promoter Michelle Waldroup and New Hope Baptist Church are happy to announce the performance of a renowned men’s quartet on Saturday, June 21, at 6 p.m. The 90-minute concert will be a mix of traditional and contemporary Southern Gospel songs.
Since its founding in 1958, The Inspirationals Quartet has been a bright light in the gospel music scene. Based in Fort Worth and originally known as “Bob Wills & The Inspirationals,” the ensemble rose to fame through the years showcasing a lineup of gifted vocalists including Gary MacSpadden, Dale Shipley, and Larry Gatlin.
Now known as The Inspirationals Quartet of Texas, they honor their rich heritage while setting new benchmarks in gospel music. The group’s Southern Gospel style resonates with those who grew up in the South, especially folks who enjoy full gospel music festivals and conventions.
