The First United Methodist Church of Fairfield will be having an open gym on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. beginning on Wednesday, June 25. The event will run through Wednesday, August 6.
“We all know how hot the summers can be here in Fairfield,” Pastor Mike McVey said. “We also know how desperate parents and families are to find activities for their children. Well, we think we may have found a small way in which the First United Methodist Church can remedy this situation.”
FUMC’s Gym, located at 201 N. Mount St. in Fairfield, will be open each Wednesday to families with kids in our community in the afternoons from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There will be games, crafts, snacks, drinks and fun for everyone. There is also a walking track.
