A McKinney man was killed Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 84 near County Road 866, northwest of Teague, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., on Monday, June 16, 2025, DPS Troopers responded to the scene of the collision. A preliminary investigation found that the driver of a Kia Sorento struck the rear of a Lexus passenger car that was preparing to make a left turn, DPS officials said.
The impact forced the Lexus into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by an approaching pickup truck.
