Self-Defense

Last night’s successful attack on Iranian nuclear sites is an unmistakable demonstration of leadership in American policy that has been sadly absent for too long. That previous timid weakness so often seen by the world was most tragically shown when the former President ordered American forces to abandon Afghanistan like a thief in the night, leaving huge stores of arms and equipment for the Iranian sponsored Taliban. This weakness at the highest levels in Washington did not go unnoticed by our enemies.

That was hopefully reversed last night as the days and weeks ahead will most likely prove. Weakness and timidity encourage bullying aggression; strength and the courage to act with arms compel respect.
