Outlaw Outdoors Announces Forward-Facing Sonar Ban on Team Tournament Trail in 2026
The owners of one of East Texas’ most popular amateur only team tournament circuits — Outlaw Outdoors — recently announced that their organization is joining the budding list of bass tournament trails around the country that are choosing to ban the use of forward-facing sonar (FFS) technology during their fishing events.
The new rule will become effective with the start of the 2026 season in January.
